Turnout
With a maximum of 10 boarded horses at any time and situated on nearly 11 acres, Park Oaks provides ample turnout space. Divided into 4 separate turnout areas, horses are rotated to provide time for pastures to rest between periods of grazing.
Weather permitting, horses are turned out everyday from approximately 7am until 5pm. Due to our group turnout philosophy, we have a preference to restrict boarding to geldings. However, we have had success with mares in the past and are willing to review the introduction of a mare on a case by case basis.
Mud lots are used as an alternative to pasture turnout when necessary depending on weather, pasture condition, etc.
To ensure the safety and security of our boarders' horses, fencing is either post and rail, field fence, electric, or a combination.
